Political Information

We are attempting to broaden the member's knowledge and understanding of the political process of the United States. We are not attempting to coerce the reader into following any particular party's philosophy or to suggest they join any particular party association.

Our goal is to present the information of the procedures and the players of our American Political Process. This information will be presented as unbiased as possible. However, it will be emphasized that we should be most concerned with those politicians and those issues that directly impact organized labor and particularly the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and this Local.

By making this information available to our members, we are fulfilling some of our responsibility as U.S. citizens and members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Your responsibility is to be knowledgeable of our political process and to be aware of the positions and opinions of your elected and potentially elected representatives and most of all to exercise your right to vote.
